Stephen Robinson Stephen has been a Trustee since 2015. Tell us a bit about yourself I currently work as a solicitor and have over 10 years’ experience in the legal sector, now specialising in private client matters. I am a keen sportsman and was Captain of Bamburgh Castle Cricket Club for nearly ten years. I am also a Trustee for another local charity supporting young and vulnerable women. How do you feel about the north east? The north east is made of great people, who are warm and friendly, and will always help you out when you need it. It is also one of the most beautiful regions in the UK and we need to shout louder about how great it is! I am proud to call the north east my home. Why have you chosen to be a Trustee of Children North East? Having grown up in the north east, and despite spending much time in other parts of the country, I was drawn to Children North East to continue helping children grow up healthy and happy in my home region. Do you have any unusual talents? I’m double jointed in my fingers meaning I can do a one-handed round of applause. I can also speak 3 foreign languages.
