Lynn Renwick Lynn is our Young People's Service Manager and has been with Children North East since 2004. Tell us a bit about yourself I began my working life at 16 as a Civil Servant in the Land Registry and stayed for 15 years. Wanting a change, I decided to retrain, going on to graduate with honours in 2010, alongside volunteering at a mentoring project. Tell us about your role in Children North East I initially joined Children North East as a Family Support Volunteer before moving into paid work the following year. Throughout my time here, I have worked on various young people’s projects that change to meet the needs of the young people over time. I love my job and the values that underpin our work are so important to me. Empowerment, acceptance and working in an open, honest and respectful way helps us achieve the outcomes for children, young people and families who are facing many different challenges in life. How do you relax after work? I love spending time with my family as well as my beautiful Boxer dogs, Rosie and Woody. What’s your dream holiday destination? I love giraffes, elephants and big cats so would love to go on a safari in Kenya.
