Want to raise money to support Children North East, but not sure where to start?

Whether you’ve done fundraising before or it's your first time, here are some ideas to get you started:

24 hour dance off - pick your favourite tunes and display your moves

Car wash - everyone needs a clean car

Card game championships - from UNO to poker via snap

Cocktail night - leave them shaken not stirred

Come to work backwards - dress back to front for the day

Craft fair – get making and selling

Curry night - everyone loves a curry

Exercise-athon - ideal for the exercise junkies out there!

Karaoke night - get those lungs working

Quiz night - your starter for ten!

Santa run/easter bunny run - puts a smile on everyone's face

Silent disco - headphones on, good for the neighbours

Soak the boss…always a popular one

Sports match - choose your season or your sport and have a bash/kickabout

Swim the channel - we'd suggest in a pool…20 miles in total

Treasure hunt - investigate your home town by hiding clues for others to follow

You can also set up your own fundraising page on our website making it easier for everyone to show their support.

Children North East relies on your help to raise important funds to continue its work to support children, young people and their families across the north east.  Read our Supporter Commitment to you.

Children North East is a member of the Fundraising Regulator which is the independent regulator of charitable fundraising.
