Salary: £35,512 - £40,282 per annum, pro rata. Please note that appointments are usually made with a salary offer starting at the lower end of the scale.

Hours: A normal working week for this role is between 22 and 25 hours but days and times are flexible.

Length of Contract: This is a permanent role.

The Finance Manager is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the charity. They will have primary responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities including the development of financial strategies. They will be directly responsible for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, reporting and project analysis, negotiations and investor relations. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, exceptional numerical proficiency, and strong leadership skills. The Finance Manager should harmonise financial operations, develop effective financial strategies, guide efforts towards financial stability, monitor all financial activities, promote revenue growth, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and maintain good relationships.

The Finance Manager must have the ability to convey complex financial information into tangible, simple outputs.  As a senior member within the charity, you will support and report to the Trustees, the CEO and be part of the Senior Leadership Team.  You will assume a strategic role in the overall management of the charity’s finances.
