£5 could

  • buy flour, icing sugar, rice crispies, spaghetti etc to make playdough, gloop and other messy play activities for babies and toddlers to explore textures and new experiences
  • purchase a book for a child/young person to encourage reading at any age
  • support a young person and their mentor to access an activity in their community such as bowling, exercise class or swimming

£10 could

  • pay the taxi fare to enable an isolated Mum and her baby to leave the house and come along to one of our baby social or parent-infant groups
  • purchase small musical instruments to teach parents the benefits  of singing to/with  their young children to support parent/child  relationships and  promote language development
  • pay for room hire to enable a young person to receive counselling support in their own community at a venue of their choice

£20 could

  • provide a therapy session for parents and their baby to explore difficulties they are experiencing in the parent-infant relationship
  • provide a place on the "Preparing for Baby Programme" to enhance parenting skills and knowledge, including baby brain development, healthy lifestyles and safety in the home along with practical tasks such as bathing, feeding and changing your baby
  • support a counselling therapy session for a young person to explore their issues and help them to develop positive coping skills and resilience
