Children North East has been transforming the lives of children for 125 years.
To mark the occasion, we have established a corporate club to allow local businesses and organisations to receive recognition for their support and generosity.
The club provides an opportunity for the region’s businesses to get involved to support the North East’s very own children’s charity.
Why support us?
By becoming part of the 125 Club, you will help support the region’s oldest independent children’s charity, whilst also meeting your own Corporate Social Responsibility objectives including:
- Staff engagement
- Sending a clear message regarding your company values
- PR opportunities
- Making a real contribution to the lives of children, young people and families in the North East
If you join the 125 Club and offer your support to us over our 125th anniversary year, your business will receive a number of benefits in return as a thank you for your generosity.

125 Club Founder Members:
Martin Westgate, Director, Robertson Construction England, said of the 125 Club:
“As a business we at Robertson believe it is essential to put something back into the communities where we work. Our decision to support Children North East stems from their continued work in the north east region with children, young people and families. They’ve continued to provide support in a variety of ways for 125 years which is an amazing achievement.
Being a member of the 125 Club enables us to support Children North East and provides us with an excellent way of shouting about that support. Having supported the charity for a number of years we were delighted to be offered a membership of the 125 Club and will be proudly displaying our membership for all to see.”
Steve McCoy, Managing Director of Galliford Try Partnerships North, said of the 125 Club:
“Supporting Children North East has been a rewarding experience for the business and its staff. We are delighted to raise money for a cause that provides such much needed support for disadvantaged children and families throughout the North East. Our staff find that many of the events that we support in person are highly motivational and give everyone a real sense of pride and worth that is rarely achieved in normal business life.”
